It's that time of year again and it's when we are the busiest! Last week we played a show at Ranchmen's in Calgary! It seemed like the whole city was there it was so packed! We played our originals there and the crowds response was amazing! They loved them! That makes us really excited for the release of our upcoming album labelled "Rough And You Like It."
The record or 'E.P' consists of only 4 songs (for now). They are called "Rough And You Like It," "Oh No You Didn't," Last Night Did A Number On Me" and "Hick Train." We are still deciding on which song to release first to radio, but they all seem to be going over well! We are hoping people really enjoy them so we can finish the album! :)
This weekend before our christmas holidays we are playing the Cold Lake casino and last night went over better than expected! People must be in christmas spirit or "spirits" ;)! Oh I crack myself up sometimes lol.
Last night I gave a mother of three some advice since all three of her young ones has musical talents. I actually felt like I accomplished something last night other than entertaining. It was very rewarding. Anyone can be a rockstar, but that may not always be the big picture. Our fans and people who look up to us feel as if they know us, and if we don't take time to know them then why would they love us so much? One of the most rewarding feelings isn't being the centre of attention, it's making new relationships with the people after! You can meet so many amazing people in this business and I have the privilege to do so!
We had an encore last night and one guy offered us $200 extra to play adele one more time! I wanted more people to come out tonight so I had mentioned if he brings a few buddies out tomorrow night I'll sing it for free :) so hopefully they make it out again! Adele definitely is the most popular song we cover, the crowd just freaks out everytime!
I tell yah, there is nothing like playing for either 3500, 400 or even 20 people that go nuts after a performance. Its those people that we live to play for! Thank you guys for loving us, but I'll tell you that we love you more than you'll ever know!

Couple Weeks In The Mountains!
This is our second weekend in a row in Grand Cache! Small towns, whether in the mountains or in the prairies, sure know how to have a good time. The staff here are among some of the nicest we've met and really appreciate their hospitality!
We like to keep updated with the newest music trends with a wide variety such as 'My Kinda Party' by Jason Aldean to 'Raise Your Glass' by pink. You might be asking "well if they are a country band, why are they playing songs by 'Pink,' 'Green Day,' 'Michael Jackson' and 'Adele?'" We try to load up our set lists with music that everyone will enjoy. That way we can take more requests and play more rooms so everyone is happy. Plus even the straight up country rooms we play are starting to incorporate all genres of music in there playlist.
Come out tonight and tomorrow at Rockie's Bar in Grand Cache!! Small town BIG PARTY!
P.S- If you guys have any ideas for some new tunes (rock or country or pop) then don't hesitate to leave some comments on our blog space. We would love to hear what you guys listen to since you are the people we live to play for! :)

Pow Right In the Kisser!
Hey guys! Were up playing in 'The Mac' aka Fort McMurray! The venue is the 'Boomtown Casino.' Just sounds pumpin' and I promise that "we will, we will ROCK YOU!
We played last night till 1 o'clock and woke up bright and early to jam out a tune on country morning radio :)!! We decided to play one of our more "country-esk" tunes because it was only 7:40am :) and we don't need to be scaring anyone out of bed! The song is called 'Hick Train' and will be debuted on our upcoming album (and a pre production copy soon up on the blog site.)
'Hick Train' is a perfect introductory tune which gives the listener a mental picture of the bands ora. It's got a "rootsy" feel with a country-rock twist and features both vocalists. Our band is more like a big ol' family and every one of us is very unique in personality and background. This song really brings us all together.
If you guys want to hear a sneak peak of our original music, you should all come out and join us on one of our weekend adventures! :) The next couple weekends we are doing private christmas parties, but for any of you in the Calgary area, we will be playing at 'Ranchmens' from dec.15-17! It's always a blast, and if you like to two step, your going to the right place! Some of the best dancers hit up 'Ranchmens.' Hope to see all of you out! :)

We are finishing the last day of a three day bender at the DV8 hotel in Drayton Valley!! It's more of a rock bar so we really rock out, jam out with your clam out or however you like to get your groove on! Thursday night there was a smaller crowd but they made us feel like there were hundreds of people in there. Thanks guys for showing us your love, it really pumps us up! Last night started slow and ended with a bang! Literally I seen at least 6 people head banging to the whole last set! It's now the last night and I heard there were 3 different birthdays coming... BRING ON THE PARTY! We're gonna bring it all to table again for one more night. Can't wait to make some MeMoRiEs!

Hey guys! As you may already know we are a band called 'Sweet Tequila' and we are based out of the Edmonton area. If you like country and classic rock, you'll LOVE our music! We started out as a cover band and thanks to our fans, we are now becoming a recording act. You guys wanted CDs, so were doing our best to give you the hottest album canadian country has seen for a long time!
We recently just got back from cutting tracks in Nashville TN. That was SWEET! Honestly my advice for any musicians out there,"MAKE A TRIP TO NASHVILLE!" It should be your top priority to check out your competition, and they don't call it 'Music City' for nothing! Going there really made an impact on me and I'm now more driven than ever to get to the top!
For any of you that made it out to the CFR rodeo finals, THANK YOU for the support!! Thursday was a long but most rewarding day. We were asked to play on breakfast TV. It was our first time being debuted on national television!! Later that night we ended up headlining at 'The Buckle' for the CFR rodeo finals. Friday and Saturday we opened up for artists 'Chad Brownlee' and 'Emerson Drive,' who just rocked the stage! It was an awesome night! I had people asking for autographs and pictures, but I think I was more excited than they were to give them! Thank you guys for making my weekend! :)
